The coronavirus outbreak is transforming the way we live and work. West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) are working hard to maintain essential services to businesses and residents, and keep our communities safe.

The Mayor of the West Midlands and WMCA are working closely with partners in public health, local and central government, charities and businesses to support everyone throughout this period.

 

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

New laws preventing social gatherings of more than six people are now in place across England as the Government calls on the public to remain vigilant in the fight against coronavirus.

But with Covid-19 cases rising quickly in some parts of the West Midlands additional local restrictions preventing different households from meeting up in their homes and gardens have also been introduced in Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull.
