The team have set up a food bank, engaging with local residents in some of the most deprived areas of Birmingham to make sure help is given where it is most needed. The scheme has grown quickly, and volunteers are working tirelessly to sort donations and deliver food packs to vulnerable residents and homeless shelters in the area.
The team of young volunteers have shown remarkable maturity in leading on the emergency Covid-19 community support project. So far, they have had over 100 enquiries from across Birmingham and they are responding to new calls daily. They are following all guidelines set out by Public Heath England the Government and training new volunteers to make sure everyone stays safe.
