A Helping Hand with Home Schooling

13 May 2020

Managing Director of PET-Xi Fleur Sexton meets with Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street.

Need a helping hand with your home schooling? Have you exhausted your skills to explain quadratics, algebra, covalent bonding, electrolysis, tectonic plates or the works of Charles Dickens? Are you getting your double negatives and split infinitives in a twist? Confusing your Stuarts with your Tudors? Share the load with Coventry based PEX-Xi Training. This award-winning business has raised £10,000 to provide virtual one-to-one support for families in the city whose children are on free school meals. The money has been raised by their charitable arm - the PET-Xi Foundation, which raises money for young people nationwide.

Daily, one-to-one private lessons are being offered via the PET-Xi Live system in subjects from Key Stage 1 right through to A-Level.

With many parents anxious that the coronavirus pandemic will have a detrimental effect on their child’s education, the free support being offered by PET-Xi is a huge lifeline to try and keep their education on track. Isolation is an added challenge.

PET-Xi Training was established in the city 25 years ago and is a former winner of the coveted Company of the Year accolade at the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards in 2017.
